The Integrated Sanitation & Sewerage Infrastructure Project is launched for providing sanitation services to selected villages in the Upper Egypt Region – specifically in the two Governorates of Assuit and Sohag – in order to enhance public health and environmental conditions in these areas simultaneously with an aimed enhancement of water streams (canals and drains). In addition, a pilot project for solid waste management in two residential clusters in the three Governorates is envisaged.
