JACK Box keeps track of tools (such as i.e. zynaddsubfx, rosegarden, hydrogen, ...) typically used while performing and producing music on GNU/linux.
JACK Box is meant to make life of open-source music producers easier, by saving and loading parameters of tools used, manage their reciprocal interconnections and restore everything with a single-click action (eventually midi-triggerable). All to be done via a smart interface (extensible, mainly by altering xml documents via xslt files), powered by Python, Libglade, GtkMozEmbed, XML, XSLT, and with the support of a non-moderate use of sh scripting.
