I have tried to find a custom kernel for this famous laptop but couldn't even find a config file or instructions which i could use to compile my own kernel. So this project would provide deb packages of kernel & headers specific to Dell XPS1330 laptops.
This project will provide deb packages of kernel & headers specific to Dell XPS-M1330 laptops. The kernel will be released in line with latest Ubuntu release of kernel, i.e. if Ubuntu team releases 2.6.xx-x kernel, we will release 2.6.xx-x-xps1330. We will not overwrite or remove Ubuntu's default kernel, however once the custom kernel is installed, it will be the default.
One point to mention, there are no kernel source code modification involved in this project, at least for now. However the project is released under GNU GPL and we will publish the config file that we used to compile the kernel.
