leihs is a web-based system to manage the circulation of items within an organization or institution. In our case, we use it to keep track of who uses our cameras, lighting equipment, speakers, microphones etc.
We are using Launchpad only for its translation features, as we want to open up translation of leihs 2.0 to as many people as possible.
Note on the "Model|attribute" strings you find in the translation files: You can ignore them for now, they don't need to be translated. This is a feature that Ruby-gettext auto-generates, but we actually don't use it at the moment, so it doesn't need translation.
