Mars Portal is, following the geeky "Stranger in a Strange Land" reference of the Grok project, "A place for Grokking", a simple, general-purpose, full-featured social web CMS built using Grok and Grok-based toolkits such as Dolmen and Meteor intended to soften the learning curve of the Zope Toolkit. This project is targeted at developers already familiar with and enthusiastic about Grok, who do not wish to DIY or reinvent wheels 100%.
