MedSquare is an ambitious initiative aimed at promoting a collaborative environment between medical and academic communities. Our main goal is to develop standards for interaction between projects in the field of medical image visualization and analysis.
Right now this project is still at a very early stage of development. We are currently focused on developing a sound strategy for inclusion of new developers in a near future, so that development can flow faster without losing sight of the original goals. A first fully functional version (0.1.0), with basic multi-format image visualization capabilities, is expected for the end of this year.
