This project aims to create a nice, easy to use interface for technophobes (eg my wife!) so that we can use the PC for our Entertainment at home system. Nothing I have seen is REALLY easy to use. We are talking big dumb and clean user interfaces with nice clearly legible fonts and intuitive operational layouts. The prototype is already successful and my wife can and does use it. However I wanted to extend this this include movie and internet radio. That was written in vb.net 2.0 however I would like to move to c#.
Interested in exploring the new display features of .net 3.5 and seeing if it enhances application interfaces. Compatibility is important as the VLC libraries are used for the media interface back end. Essentially its a vls player overlay. But hey who cares as long as it works, looks good is reliable and easy to use.
