Cisco is proud to be a longstanding member of the OpenStack community. Cisco helped design and develop OpenStack Quantum, is a Gold member of the OpenStack Foundation, deploys OpenStack internally, assists customers deploying OpenStack, and continues to make contributions in other parts of the OpenStack community as well. Our customers provide us with valuable requirements for scale, stability, and feature richness, which we will help share and develop with the community. As part of our contribution to the community, Cisco maintains Cisco OpenStack Edition. Cisco OpenStack Edition is a packaged and tested version OpenStack with open source components. It delivers automated deployment and additional functionality such as high availability, monitoring, and Cisco enabled networking through Quantum.
