OpenTeacher 2.0 beta 1 released!

Written for OpenTeacher by Marten de Vries on 2010-10-31

One and a half year have past since the release of OpenTeacher 1.0, but now we're getting close to OpenTeacher 2.0. This release will include many new features, and is almost completely rebuild. Examples include WRTS (http://www.wrds.eu and http://www.wrts.nl/) support, printing, new lesson modes and settings, so you can adjust OpenTeacher to your wishes!

Today, we're proud to release the first beta for this brand new version. For Ubuntu users a .deb is available, and to satisfy the Windows users, we've got a nice .exe installer. We also offer a .zip file with the source. It should run on almost every operating system with python and PyQt4 installed. Note that these are installed automatically when you're using the .deb or the .exe.

Please file bugs if any at Launchpad! (http://bugs.launchpad.net/openteacher)
