This project is collection of programs, which is used to implement a robotic system called panther. This project contains three parts basically. The robotic brain application called avenger, which runs on the server x86 machine and generates all necessary control data. Avenger also provides a gui for the user to control the robot. The second part is the vehicle side software called jaguar which runs on a arm powered single board computer. Jaguar receives all the control data from avenger, and drives the slave cards which are powered by peripheral interface controllers. The third part crunger is the slave card software which runs on pic based boards. Cruncher drives the actuators.
