Pigment is a 3D graphics engine.

Developed in C using the GLib/GObject libraries, Pigment exposes a retained mode 3D rendering API running on top of pluggable renderers like OpenGL or Direct3D. It mainly focuses features exposed by modern GPUs through an extensive support of programmable shading.

Python developers might be interested to know that Python bindings synchronized with the Pigment trunk series are available at https://launchpad.net/pigment-python.
