EU translation

Asked by Daniel Koć

In my svn repository version I see trunk/packagelist-dapper.pot and trunk/packagelist-breezy.pot files. I'd like to translate it to polish, but Rosetta is missing the pot-s for EU. Could you add it here, please?

Thank you both for your intrest.
Venkat ("rombotgeek" on irc) has emailed the rosetta users list to find
out how to get the po files uploaded (none of us have any idea).

Hope you get the help you need from irc.

Klos, an extra mirror would be great.
thanks

Hello again, is there any progress with adding these files to Rosetta?

Hi people, i just had a thought.
EasyUbuntu keeps its docs in docbook xml. what has to be done to it before its ok for being translated? the docs are far from stable (i change what i can when i can), but i thought someone might be interested in translating them when they are stable.

You probably need poxml package:

"tools for using PO-files to translate DocBook XML files

This is a collection of tools that facilitate translating DocBook XML files using gettext message files (PO-files).

Also included are some miscellaneous command-line utilities for manipulating DocBook XML files, PO-files and PO-template files.

This package is part of KDE, and a component of the KDE SDK module. See the 'kde' and 'kdesdk' packages for more information. "

Thanks - the translation is ready (at least for Dapper)!

I consider this request resolved, but I have issues with the translation template. It does include all packages names (which shouldn't be really translated), but doesn't include section names (Multimedia, Web, Archive, System) and "About" screen, which in turn should be translated. =}

Please correct it.

Thanks Venkat for the templates.

Daniel, if you could file a bug that lists the strings that need translation that would be great.
