This is the same issue as bug 3600. If the spec summary was displayed with fmt:text-to-html, then the links would be noticed

I can see this bug also occuring in the whiteboard text input of the specification tracker. Not opening a new bug to not cause duplication.

Ok, as of Kiko's request I verified this bug on staging, and as I can see - it's still there.

Visit: https://staging.ubuntu.com/distros/ubuntu/+spec/do-not-use/+edit

Notice that the whiteboard input contains a carriage return and a link, but when saving and then visiting:
https://staging.ubuntu.com/distros/ubuntu/+spec/do-not-use

You can see that the whiteboard still ignores both CRs and links.

This is not a dupe -- this one is about the status whiteboard, while bug 3600 is about the summary.
