PyCkleJar is now ChomsPy!

The 1.0 Release of the PyCkleJar Project hit some road blocks. In the process, the project itself was put under the microscope, and re-thought. In the end, a new method, a new approach in fact, was determined and moved on. In this way, the project hopes that ChomsPy is not seen as a competitor to existing databases, but rather an alternative option for those looking for a more flexible of storing data.

ChomsPy is currently in use in the SINAS (Samwich Is Not an Actual Samwich) Application on http://www.snohoma.net/sinas.py (can also be seen on the main page under "News"). It is a simple journaling application which uses ChomsPy exclusively for all displayed elements (everything is stored in the DAD, templates, data and even the page elements themselves).

The 1.0 release is upon us, and will posted shortly. I'm trying to clean up the LaunchPad site, and have decided that ChomsPy will not be using LaunchPad for code since the project is simplistic (1 file). Instead, a Developer's Office is hosted on SnohomaNET where developers can share internal messages about the progress and future plans of the project.

This has been decided for the 1.0 - 1.9 Branch of the project, which will be the new Trunk, once I can get everything corrected on LaunchPad. The 2.0 Branch itself has not been determined as of yet.
