pyLisp-NG (next-generation PyLisp) picks up where PyList left off. This is a very simple implementation of Lisp in Python that is perfectly suitable for Python projects needing Lisp-like capabilities.

The original code that pyLisp-NG is based on can be found here:
  http://www.biostat.wisc.edu/~annis/creations/PyLisp/

Do note, however, that this project makes no effort to maintain backwards compatibility. Classes and methods are likely to have their names changed, etc.

PyLisp-NG is used in Evolver (https://launchpad.net/evolver) and txEvolver (https://launchpad.net/txevolver) as the basis for genetic programming code.
