Racetrack Repository
Racetrack is a results repository. It makes the results of automated tests visible to the organization, and can display the details of each verification performed within a testcase. It can include a screenshot or log file, so the triage engineer investigating failures can quickly and easily determine what caused the failure. It helps to reduce false negatives by making results visible to everyone. Each result set, and result is a distinct URL, allowing links directly to an error can be included in a defect report. Connections to your online defect tracking system and build site are easy set up. At VMware, we've captured over 2 Million test results in the past 1.5 years using Racetrack and the tool is used daily by 25 different project teams in California, Bulgaria, China & India.
