Most advanced Linux users support friends and relatives who switch to Ubuntu. Technical support is usually done by instant messaging or over the telephone, which tends to be slow and confusing. This assistant provides secure, easy-to-use remote desktop sharing using technologies like VNC and SSH.
This assistant guides you through the process of securely providing or accessing a remote desktop or a remote shell over the Internet.
To install the assistant, click on the blue "external downloads" link, and follow the instructions.
