Sibu is a Linux distribution developed by the Sibu Community (originally from Pococí ), Version 1.0 (launched on April 25 of 2008) is based on Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon). It is a distribution-oriented programmers and users.

It is designed for machines from 384 MB RAM (which is the minimum for optimal load any of the graphical interfaces 2) and 1 GHz processors onwards.

It can be loaded into LiveDVD way without installing it on a computer also supports to be installed on the hard drive using either conventional method, can be installed using the monolithic installation in the same manner as in a flash memory.
