Sync your linux computer and your android phone over wifi without the cloud.
This involves you running a daemon on your linux box and a client on your android phone that integrates with the accounts & sync manager. Your phone will get hashes of files from your computer after a simple authentication procedure, and compare them with the local files, and request new/modified files and delete files not meant to be there.
