SPIT will be a project management tool focused on following support tickets and milestones. It's on early planning stage.

It will be built on Java Enterprise Edition technology. It's planned to use Vaadin (http://vaadin.com) to build the human interface and Guice (http://code.google.com/p/google-guice/) to provide a dependency injection mechanism. It's also a requirement to run on Google App Engine, so we must use DataNucleus Access Platform (http://datanucleus.org) JDO or JPA to deal with data persistence, probably the first option. The source code will be managed with Bazaar. Eclipse with Google, Vaadin and WTP (Java EE) plugins is the IDE of choice. We are using GNU Gettext to provide translation, which works with the Launchpad Translations interface.

Any help is appreciated. You can do it translating the project, giving ideas (blueprints), asking questions, reporting bugs, and with source code.

If you want to contribute with source code, just use Bazaar to get our branch and import it into your Eclipse. You need to use Google Plugin, Web Tools Platform (Java EE) and Vaadin Plugin. Please make sure to use UTF-8 character encoding, Unix line breaks and normal Tab.
