Spyder (previously known as Pydee) is a free open-source Python development environment providing MATLAB-like features in a simple and light-weighted software, available for Windows XP/Vista/7, GNU/Linux and MacOS X.

Main Development and Bug Tracking shall still happen at the project home page:

This Launchapd project is dedicated to
* provide hosting of Spyder for users of Bazaar VCS
* enable users to create working copy for submitting enhancements, plugins and patches
* allow easy creating of packages for Ubuntu distributions.
