The Shell Script Web Server Management (SSWSM) project aims to provide web server administrators with a simple way to build an efficient, fast and secure web server from the command line.
SSWSM works on Ubuntu Lucid and sets up Apache 2.2, MySQL 5.1, the Apache Worker MPM and PHP 5.3 running as a FastCGI application with suPHP. This provides a more secure environment for shared hosting environment than running tasksel lamp-server or selecting LAMP Server during install.
SSWSM also allows the web server administrator to setup multiple virtual hosts quickly and efficiently from the command line by answering a few simple questions.
