SwishCMS is a collection of scripts designed to make running a website quicker and easier. It is made up of a variety of subprojects that can all be linked together. These subprojects range from news management to downloads centers, and are all separated to reduce size of download and make it easier.

The new SwishCMS (the one as it is today), was founded on Launchpad on the 21st February 2007, though development was occuring before then. lsproc has been main developer from the beginning.
