tagin! is an open source, location tagging engine that may be used to create indoor location-based services (LBS) and applications.

Developers can use tagin! to manage indoor points of interest (POI) and digital signs making them available to their applications on WiFi- and Bluetooth-capable devices.

If you are interested in contributing to this project go to irc://irc.oftc.net/#idrc-mobile to chat with someone from the development team about what you can do. We use Bazaar (http://bazaar.canonical.com/en/) for managing the code base. If you are not yet familiar with Bazaar you can get started with the following tutorial: http://doc.bazaar.canonical.com/latest/en/mini-tutorial/
