TextTest is a tool for text-based functional testing. This means running a batch-mode executable from the command line in lots of different ways, and using the text output produced as a means of controlling the behaviour of that application.
TextTest is a mature and feature-rich tool that has existed on SourceForge since 2003. The mailing list at sourceforge is the main forum for questions and general support at the moment. In 2019 TextTest has been ported to Python 3 and code and issues are now hosted at Github, so please see https:/
