This Ubuntu EeePC Kernel project is specifically designed for Ubuntu Hardy (v8.04) and contains a series of third-party patches designed to get the most out of your Asus EeePC. These patches have either not yet made it to the mainstream kernel development trunk, or have not yet been released as a kernel image from the mainstream distributions.
