This is similar to Bug #374999. In any event. My new install of Jaunty has no CD/DVD drive now. I've re-installed three times now and tried everything but can't get it to work. Disabling the CD/DVD drive does not work. Changing BIOS settings does not work.

LILO does not work. Post #11 is correct, LILO does not play nice with kernel updates. On reboot you get the blinking cursor of death. Any other suggestions for a solution?
