Confirmed yet again on a Gateway machine; this machine has no sound working and the error message comes when the snd_hda_intel module is inserted into the kernel. Discovered this bug while attempting to fix audio on an "nVidia Corporation MCP51 High Definition Audio (rev a2)" on a Gateway model W340UA.
