LiveCD works fine
Launched Ubiquity from Desktop

Thanks for your report. Deep down, part of the installer died with a segmentation fault. In this context, that is usually due to a faulty CD/DVD disk or drive, or a faulty hard disk. It may help to clean the CD/DVD, to burn the CD/DVD at a lower speed, to clean the CD/DVD drive lens (cleaning kits are often available from electronics suppliers), to check whether the hard disk is old and in need of replacement, or to move the system to a cooler environment.

Hmm, I've just noticed that you were installing within VMware, which would tend to preclude hardware problems. Could you re-test with a current version of Feisty and see if you still encounter this? I test within VMware myself on a frequent basis, and haven't seen this.

Successfully installed Feisty Beta on VMware :)
All looks good - absolutely no hitches during installation.
