It doesn't reappear when I put others files in the folder (approx. 2-300 mo) so I think if you say right the icon normaly appear to say he have a transfert

Objet : [Bug 413661] Re: Ubuntu One icon disappears from Notification Area
Just one more idea regarding the behaviour of the icon.
Imagine you are using a mobile device (notebook, netbook) and you want to disconnect from wireless. How can you tell if all transfers to/from UbuntuOne are completed?
Other scenario: You drop a large amount of files into your UbuntuOne folder shortly before you shut down your machine. Is it save to shut down or are still some transfers going on?
Or some one else drops some files in a shared folder and you go offline before UbuntuOne has downloaded all the files.
In my opinion the icon should always be there, telling you that you are
in sync with UbuntuOne. This gives a better feeling than "I don't see
anything, so it could be OK... or not?".

Bug description:
After the latest update of the Ubuntu One client software, the Ubuntu One icon in the Notification Area disappears shortly after logging in to the Gnome GUI. Disconnecting and reconnecting to Ubuntu One, via Nautilus, will bring back the Notification Area icon briefly.
