Linguistic work is being done in thousands of minority languages world wide. A major difficulty in minority languages is standardizing spelling. Hunspell (http://hunspell.sourceforge.net) is a powerful spell checking program used in Mozilla, Opera, Open Office, and various other applications. Your average minority language user is not a computer programmer.

The goal of this project is to make it possible for websites to be created that can automatically spell check its text fields with a hunspell dictionary by integrating it into the wordpress (www.wordpress.org) content management system.

Programmers that are familiar with Wordpress are helpful, but anyone who is willing to do a little bit of learning would also be welcome!
