Today X-VR 2 is a C++ framework you can use to develop rich applications under Unix-like environments, currently it features an SQL database connectivity layer, a Network layer, Platform abstraction, Mathematics utility classes and Multi-threading. X-VR 2 has been carefully crafted to be thread friendly so it can benefit from modern multi-core chips.
