I work at Bethel University (http://www.bethel.edu) as the Manager of Web Development.

One of the major projects / systems my team has implemented is Silva (http://infrae.com/products/silva). Over the past 5 years, I've implemented many extensions to Silva (http://zope.org/Members/aaltepet, http://infrae.com/products/silva/extensions), and written some articles about developing in Silva (http://altepeter.net/tech). I've also been contributing to the development of Silva-core products.

I thoroughly enjoy web programming, and especially web programming in Zope. I like learning new frameworks (and how they are intended to be used). Not only do they sometimes enable me to more easily represent / solve a project, but they are a way to see into the developers mind and learn how they approach / solve problems. That's very cool!
