I may now be the 'only developer standing' on the now dormant SwordReader project, but am still willing to give support if asked. My programming abilities are out of date. I used to be reasonably competent in C, but am very much the amateur in C++. Have used Linux in various forms for years and really prefer it to the alternatives. March 2010, I got a Dell mini 10v notebook pre-loaded with Ubuntu. It was not long after that that I realised that Ubuntu was now in a position to replace all the Windows operations that I was currently carrying out. Since that time, I have upgraded all of my family to Ubuntu, along with a couple of friends. Am now getting very involved with the Ubuntu-UK loco team and with Ubuntu Advertising.
