EiV Stands for Englishman_in_Vienna

I am part of "First steps", which is a drop in service run by enthusiasts of free and open source software like Linux and BSD.

The aim of the service is to provide help and support to all users that are using or intend to use Linux software on their computers.

Please feel free to just drop in and I am sure you’ll find someone willing to assist you in your endeavours to replace your existing operating system with Linux.

Or maybe you’ve already got or a Linux machine and require a little assistance, something that a face-to-face meeting might help with, rather than spending hours sifting through user groups or forums on the web.
