This team is devoted to expediency in translating English Ubuntu text to Latin through the use of tools ranging from ai chat translations to your favorite classical latin dictionary. Feel free to plug and chug translations as fast as possible. If you feel your translation needs a second pair of eyes, submit it so the work can be reviewed by the collective efforts of fine people on the internet!

It is expected that there will be MANY mistakes in these translations, as this is a non-curated, open team and any translation or suggestion goes.

The massive size of this project necessitates it's open nature, and hopefully will draw those who are not only interested in learning latin, but those who want to modify latin for modern usage.

Use plain text without diacritics or any form of apex. The modern reader of latin should be able to deduce meaning through context. This also lowers the barrier to entry for contribution to the project.

Please keep shenanigans to a minimum, but make sure they are there too...
