Implementing ceph as a backup option for OpenStack DBaaS (Trove)

Trove only uses swift as backup storage. Ceph is well known and used object storage. We want to implement a driver to allow users to use ceph and backup option.

Nova v2 API should be able to return detailed quotas for OpenStack Compute (nova)

Compute V2 API does not return detailed information about quotas. There is no direct call to retrieve this information and there is no other way to get this information.
