Over the next couple of LTS's we are trying to get the Xbox 360 to run MAME and other emulators to work with Ubuntu Mate as an Ubuntu arcade machine.

MAME is open source. Take a look at the free60.org website and you'll also see an open source gentoo Xbox360, as the videos on youtube portray.

Our job is to get the Xbox 360 to play Ubuntu, with a simple insertion of the DVD into, say, an Xbox arcade machine.

Through bountysource and other means we shall expedite this process.
