Bug Description
[Impact]
It is not possible to sign in into Youtube with the current configuration of the webapp contaier. This means for example that a user won't be able to upload a video or get personalized recommendations when using Youtube in webapp mode.
[Test case]
- Start the Youtube webapp with its launcher icon
- Click on 'Signin' in the youtube screen
Expected result:
- the user logs in
Actual result:
- the use is redirected to his default browser and can't authenticate to Youtube from within the webapp

The fix is to allow navigating to the https?:
In other words, the bug is fixed with a known-to-work solution.

Accepted unity-webapps- youtube into trusty-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http:// launchpad. net/ubuntu/ +source/ unity-webapps- youtube/ 2.4.16+ 14.04.20140428- 0ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
