Bug Description

Please update to the latest version, which is 14.05 http://www.ejabberd.im/ejabberd-14.05

Especially the support for Stream Management is an important improvement to the software and we really need it in order to let the jabber server perform well in a mobile environment.

ejabberd is at 14.07 by now, released in July 2014.

The version that comes with Utopic was released in May 2012.

This is a sad example of bitrot.

ejabberd is at 14.12 by now, released in December 2014.

  * Merge from Debian unstable. (LP: #1335141) Remaining changes:
    - debian/ejabberd.ufw.profile, debian/rules:
      + Add ufw profile.
  * Drop following patches, fixed upstream:
    - debian/patches/digest-uri-virtual-hosts.patch
    - debian/patches/fix-erlang-r16b-compat.patch
  * Drop support autotools-dev. Anyway arm64 is dep-waiting this time.
