What Steve didn't mention is that Thai appears to be present in the language selector tool (post oem-config), but doesn't seem to be on the list during oem-config.

I see that a fix has been committed for this issue. What version of oem-config did the fix go into and what's the status of that updated package i.e. is it in 'hardy-proposed', 'hardy-updates' or only checked in only for interprid?

We would be more than willing to test and provide feedback on the updated package with the fix.

It's been commited to ubiquity trunk and uploaded as part of oem-config 1.43, which will go into Intrepid shortly. Amit, is this something you need in Hardy?
