libmcrypt.m4 contains underquoted definition 'AM_PATH_LIBMCRYPT'

This has been fixed already upstream in 2.6.6:

http://mcrypt.cvs.sourceforge.net/mcrypt/mcrypt/libmcrypt.m4?r1=1.1&r2=1.2

But this package doesn't seem to be getting much love in Debian.

This bug was fixed in the package libmcrypt - 2.5.7-5ubuntu1

    - change dh_movefiles call to dh_install and add install files
    - add symlinks with dh_link calls
    debian/postinst: removed
    debian/control:
    - add versioned dependency on debhelper (>= 4)
    - change deprecated ${Source-Version} to ${binary:Version}
