Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem

While watching movie, Color settings has no effect (hue, saturation, balance, etc)

Tested fileformats .ogg .avi .mpg
Tested changing the values before opening video
Tested changing the value while video was playing

Gstreamer-properties video-output is "Auto-Detect"
Nvidia 6800GO (Mobile)Restricted Drivers in use 177

up-to-date Intrepid and gstreamer-backend

Apparently this affects hardy users as well, being reported on Finnish LoCo-forums.

Bug confirmed on an Intel GM915 chip with free drivers.
Added upstream bug and linked to it.

One precision though : adjusting brightness works for me. the three others (contrast, saturation, gain) don't

We hide sliders that aren't available on a particular hardware now.
On the intel machine, contrast should work, and nothing will work on the NVidia
machine.

This issue as of now concerns only totem, at least on nvidia machines,
Since Color options slider are working on example VLC.

On smplayer they didn't work. Might be issue what video-output module is used?
