The pdftops filter of CUPS needs to be built so that it uses Ghostscript. Ghostscript handles documents with different page sizes correctly.
Note that CUPS needs "ghostscript"added to BuildDepends and Depends then.

It seems that some filters in debian/ local/pdf- filters/ still use poppler; that would mean that we'd get a mix of poppler and ghostscript?
