Bug Description

Binary package hint: faumachine, version 20090302-0ubuntu2

when starting faumachine in gnome, it just hangs (in a busy loop) while creating the gui.
faumachine starts without problem though when using kde4.

TEST CASE: try to start faumachine from gnome. It will hang indefinitely in a busy loop.
Regression Potential: None that I'm aware of.

hm... maybe I've found a better patch, which would explain at least why it's broken (not really why it's working with kde though). Patch is still discussed upstream, I'll follow up tomorrow on the issue.

    file descriptors as having an event. Fixes that faumachine hangs
