[Karmic] USB Startup Disk Creator (usb-creator-gtk) NotImplementedError hangs at "Starting up..." message

I just did a roundup of 5 duplicate bugs against usb-creator in karmic and marked it against this master bug as it was already assigned to Evan.

I have also noticed the following concerning usb-creator in karmic:

- usb-creator does not recognize an unformatted usb disk.
- When browsing for an image the cancel button does not work.
- User must select the already selected usb device in the "Device to use" section.

These should be quick issues to patch up when fixing usb-creator before the karmic release. IMO this should be fixed before karmic is released as usb-creator is an indispensable tool to have on the LiveCD.

Are you sure this should be fix committed? I still get this error using Karmic with usb-creator from bzr.

Affects me, too. Karmic release on Sept. 8th 2009. All packages are up to date...
