Bug Description

Binary package hint: foomatic-db

foomatic-db-hpijs package was removed from Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic), now foomatic-db package provides this function (see https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/foomatic-db/20090819-0ubuntu1 ).

foomatic-db should provide foomatic-db-hpijs package (like foo2zjs provides foo2zjs-ppds), several Ubuntu and third-party packages depends or suggests foomatic-db-hpijs, for example brdesktop-common and foomatic-db-engine packages.

Because of this problem people have problems when upgrading from Ubuntu 9.04 to Ubuntu 9.10 (and will have problems during 8.04 LTS upgrading) :(
