Bug Description

If you retrieve informations of a bug in +text mode, you will miss the content of the bug.

Thanks for your report. This is a rather unfortunate oversight on our part.

As a workaround for now, you may consider grabbing the description from the +edit page.

Modules like mechanize (driving a browser from Python) and BeautifulSoup (screenscraping made easy) can make this easier to do, in lieu of a proper xmlrpc interface.

Does the user mean the bug description? Note that my Atom mockup would be a better way of exporting this information, I think.

Sure, the Atom export will be better. +text is only a quick "hack" (though not a terrible one) in lieu of more structured alternatives.
