This is a wishlist for banshee to support iPhone. My understanding is it's currently not supported.

Confirming this. Hopefully, Banshee will support this in the near future as it recently gained udev support.

And with udev support, it has dropped podsleuth/ipod-sharp and uses gpod
instead, which supports iPhones.
