Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati

Possibly related to bug 72139.
I have a Compaq Presario 2100 with an ATI Radeon Mobility U1.

When I plug a projector or monitor into the external video port, X crashes and restarts. After restart, the external monitor or projector works fine. When it is unplugged, X crashes once again and the laptop display is restored.

Also like in bug 72139 the laptop's monitor hotkey does not work. When the projector is plugged in I am unable to get the laptop display working.
